Paintbrush

Anna is standing in her atelier admiring her many brushes and different kinds of paint that adorn the shelves. Anna’s many paintbrushes are placed in old pots, and she is very fond of having brushes in different sizes and shapes. “Each paintbrush serves a purpose and creates a certain expression in the painting,” Anna explains with a smile. In her atelier, Anna has several kinds of paint on the shelves, so she is always able to create the expression she is having in mind. Therefore, it is an immense advantage, if the brushes can be used for more than one type of paint. If you are looking for a paintbrush suitable for different types of paint, Anna recommends this brush with nylon hair. “This nylon paintbrush is particularly good for acrylic paint, gouache and poster colours,” Anna emphasises. The paintbrush head is 4 centimetres, wherefore Anna often uses this brush to colour large areas or to create thick brushstrokes.
